The powder metallurgy research institute of central south university is a comprehensive base integrating teaching, scientific research and industry in the field of new materials in China. Relying on the research institute, it has built three national bases, including "national key laboratory of powder metallurgy", "national key laboratory of light and high strength structural materials" and "national engineering research center of powder metallurgy".
