A Brief introduction of the Speaker

Professor Yulbarskhon N. Mansurov, a professor at Tashkent State Transport University and a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, is currently a member of the Higher Education Steering Committee of Uzbekistan and previously served as the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Innovative Development (Ministry of Science and Technology) of Uzbekistan. He is a leading academic authority in the field of aluminum alloys among the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Professor Mansurov completed his bachelor's and master's degrees at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys in the former Soviet Union from 1973 to 1979 and earned his Ph.D. there from 1983 to 1986. He later obtained a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree from Tashkent State Technical University from 2007 to 2009. From 1979 to 2002, he worked at the Fergana Polytechnic Institute in the former Soviet Union/Uzbekistan, holding positions as an assistant lecturer, lecturer, and associate professor. From 2002 to 2009, he served as the head of the R&D department at the Uzbekistan branch of the Russian company TBM and established an innovation center at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. From 2009 to 2012, he was the director of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. From 2012 to 2017, he was the head of the Department of Materials Science and Technology at the Far Eastern Federal University in Russia. From 2018 to 2020, he served as the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan. Since 2020, he has been a professor at Tashkent State Transport University. Professor Mansurov has published eight monographs, over 280 research papers, and holds 16 patents, 12 of which have been successfully commercialized. He also serves as an editorial board member for journals in the field of non-ferrous metals.

As we stand at the threshold of the future, materials science is set to once again revolutionize various industries, from electronics to healthcare. Here, we explore cutting-edge innovations and applications that are poised to shape the future of materials science.
