A Brief introduction of the Speaker
Professor Florian Pyczak is currently the Head of the Department of Metal Physics at the Helmholtz Materials Research Center (Hereon) in Germany and an Adjunct Professor at Brandenburg University of Technology. His research focuses on the phase transformation mechanisms and processing technologies of TiAl intermetallic compounds and Co-based superalloys. His research team is also responsible for the maintenance of the beamline at the P07 station of the German Electron Synchrotron (DESY). He has long served as a committee member and conference chair for the European Intermetallics Conference, the International TiAl Alloys Conference, and the TMS Superalloys Conference. He has delivered over 30 invited presentations at international conferences and published more than 100 papers in journals such as Acta Materialia.
